There once was a little girl named LIly and she loved snow globe. She believed that they were so unique! The sight of the flakes fell slowly through the globe, looking like a gentle winter snow drew Lily to it. Their hearts were like ice, but every time she looked at them it filled her with the warmth of joy. Lily owned a large number of snow globes and they were the most precious possissions that she had in her life.
Lily stumbled upon a snowglobe ornament one day while shopping in an adorable little shop. It was quickly and prettily, with beautiful winter scene inside. It had been sprinkled with white, powdery snow and there were tiny trees poking up through the layer of cotton batting on top of red plywood bases that needed no roots to stay put because they were heavy. And here was a miniature cabin so small it looked like you just step over, inside people wore primary-colored winter clothing which stuck out from behind its frosted windowpanes like knives in butter. This special snow globe was a perfect addition to Lily's collection!
The best one had sparkling snowflakes that floated and fell inside of it. The snowflakes would dance and sparkle every time she shook it, just like the outside snow. Carrying what only seemed like a little bit of winter magic in her hand, and not even the lump she'd had when it happened.
The holidays grew nearer, and Lily was excited to share her passion for snow globes with all of the people in her life. She saw how fun it would be to make custom christmas ornamentss as gifts for all of her friends. Lily made whimsical scenes inside her snow globes by using small jars, colorful glitter and adorable plastic toys. She even went as far as to paint the lids with adorable holiday motifs, making each can personal.
They all loved Lily's cheap snow globess. They were absolutely adorable and festive hanging on the Christmas tree or sitting on a shelf. Lily was one of a kind and her snow globes were equally special so much so that all she heard from family and friends were praises on how pretty the snow globes had turned out to be.
Not long after the ornaments arrived, Lily discovered that she liked to have them out year round and not just for winter! With the popularity increasing, she began to launch snow globes for other special events such as Easter, Halloween and even birthday parties. They each had a unique theme and were filled with little treasures to find, making every party all the more fun.
Lily never got over her love of snow globes, She continued to collect and make them all her life, relishing each new one. She never missed an opportunity to share these magic moments with her friends, and even today any of us has a collection of snow globes we inherited from our parents — or gramma. Snow globes were more than pretty things to Lily. They kept beautiful memories and the warmth of being with someone close by — magical moments that she used to share once upon a time, not so long ago…
